Irrfan Khan, known internationally for roles in Life of Pi and Slumdog Millionaire and numerous Bollywood titles, has died aged 53.
The Indian-born actor died in a Mumbai hospital, after being admitted to Kokilaben hospital on Tuesday with a colon infection.
His death, after a prolonged period suffering with cancer, was confirmed by a spokesman who said Khan was surrounded by family at the time.
