In this curation, we listed ten immunity-boosting drinks that can be prepared at home easily with the stock of fruits and vegetables that are for sure available in your pantry.

Clean and cut two tomatoes and simmer them in a pan until they turn tender. Turn off the flame after about twenty minutes. Let it cool and mash the tomatoes in a blender thereafter. STRAWBERRY AND MANGO JUICE

Well, this sounds yummy, right? Cut a mango into pieces and blend it well with three strawberries in a blender. Mangoes contain Vitamin E and are also rich in antioxidants.

This is a treat during summers as watermelons help in building immunity and also soothe sore muscles. Blend cubes of watermelon in a blender with water, and add half a teaspoon of sugar if you so desire. That’s it.

Blend an apple, carrot and the pulp of an orange in a mixer and strain the mixture. This juice works like a magic potion as apples contain Vitamin A and folic acid that help to fight infections.

BEETROOT JUICE

It is another thing that beetroot juice will also improve your complexion. An added incentive to consume this drink, right? Boil a beetroot and blend it in a mixer with some water after it cools down. Strain the mixture and it is ready. Beetroots contain Vitamin C, which helps to boost your immune system and while the vegetable is a good source of iron as well.

That spinach is high on good stuff is something that we have heard from our moms and grannies ever since. Clean spinach leaves and put in a blender. Cut an apple into pieces and blend well with the spinach. You may add some lemon juice as well. Strain the mixture and drink to your health. This juice not only removes toxins from your body but also purifies blood apart from building immunity.

AMLA JUICE

This is pretty easy to make as concentrated amla juice is available in drugstores. All you need to do is mix two tablespoons of the concentration to a glass of warm water and drink it up. Amla is rich in iron, calcium, phosphorous and Vitamin C and is a great drink to strengthen your immune system.

Our good ol’ honey lemon water is rich in antioxidants. Honey has antibacterial qualities and is in itself, great for strengthening the immune system. Just add a teaspoon of lemon juice and honey each to a glass of warm water and you are good to go.

Our personal favourite, orange juice is a hearty drink that contains several vitamins and nutrients. Most importantly, Vitamin C – oranges are loaded with it and thus, a glass of its juice, can keep diseases and infections at bay.

GRAPE JUICE

Green grapes are high in Vitamins C and K. Blend a bowl of green grapes with water in a blender to prepare this juice.
